They record Jennings' travels, personal and professional activities, such as World War I service (U.S. Food Administration); summers working at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole; and as visiting professor at Keio University (Keio Gijuku Daigaku), Tokyo, Japan, 1931-1932.
